在表示“公司”“及“企业”之义时，英文中除了使用company和corporation，也不时使用“公司”广义上的对应词，诸如firm，house， business， concern， combine， Partnership，group， consortium， establishment， venture，conglomerate， multinational，transnational等。就是在专有公司名称中，“公司”也决非只有company与corporation之说，lines，agency等也是名正言顺的“公司”。具体说。

5．system（广播、航空等）公司。例如：
Mutual Broadcasting System 相互广播公司（莫）
6． office：公司，多与head，home branch等同连用。例如：

7． service（s)：（服务 ）公司。例如：

此外，exchange，center等词在特定的上下文中也可转义表示“公司”。例如：

A按地名翻译的原则处理；B可音译，也可意译，音译时可按汉语拼音，也可按英语拼写方式；C须意译，两个并列成份一般用符号“&”连接起来，如“中国科学器材公司”译为“China Scientific Instruments & Materials Corporation”，但不宜在同一个名称里使用两个“&”符号，如“中国工艺品进出口公司”译为“China National Arts and Crafts Import & Export Corporation”。
